Emilie and I walked in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk earlier this month with Champions (the low-commitment community service group on campus). The photos here are from the finish line @ the Hatch Shell.Seeing so many women with the survivor sashes or the "I'm walking for my mother" signs were really heartwarming. I recommend any BU student (even you, boys!) to walk next year, especially because it is on our campus. The 5k loop begins at the Shell, goes down Comm. Ave, past Marsh Chapel, continues along Memorial Dr. all the way to the Museum of science and ends at the Shell. The Walk is a day-long event, so you don't have to begin at the official start time (8AM).
