Fall Internship Opportunity - CGPR

Didn't have enough time this summer to apply for a Fall internship? Just decided you wanted to get some PR experience this Fall? It's not too late! CGPR is looking for one of our fabulous PRSSA members to fill their internship spot.

CGPR, a boutique PR firm (www.cgprpublicrelations.com) specializing in consumer public relations, seeks a motivated team player with a passion for communications. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- assisting team members with day-to-day account projects

- monitoring trends

- media relations activities

- tracking editorial placements

- conducting basic research

- contributing to brainstorming sessions.

This position provides aspiring students the opportunity to learn about public relations and associated disciplines. Internship is for college credit or experience only.

Requirements:
-Excellent oral, editing and written communication skills

-Excellent interpersonal skills

-Excellent organizational skills

-Ability to think creatively and suggest ideas

-Ability to work as a member of a team

-Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

-Ability to prioritize work under pressure

-Ability to accomplish a task with concern for the areas involved -Proficient in computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

-Understanding of AP style a plus

-Must be available 20 hours per week
