State Street Speaking at Thursday's Meeting - 5 p.m. in COM 101



State Street Named to Global 100 List
For the first time ever, State Street was named to the Global 100 list of sustainable corporations, announced annually at the Davos World Economic Forum. The list, published by Corporate Knights with Innovest Strategic Value Advisors, includes companies from 17 countries encompassing all sectors of the economy that are evaluated according to how effectively they manage environmental, social and governance risks and opportunities, relative to their industry peers. State Street Recognized as a Top Corporate Citizen
Corporate Responsibility Officer (CRO) magazine named State Street to its list of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens in 2007. The list puts a numerical rating on performance in eight stakeholder categories: climate change, governance, employee relations, environment, financial, human rights, lobbying and philanthropy. State Street ranked 12th on the list, which is comprised of public US companies across all industries and sectors. (CRO, January-February 2008)
 
State Street Wins “We Are Boston” Corporate Leadership Award
State Street was awarded the “We Are Boston” Corporate Leadership Award for making significant contributions to and embracing the city’s diversity. The award was given by Mayor Thomas Menino’s Office of New Bostonians, which works to strengthen the ability of immigrants and the diverse cultural and linguistic communities of which they are a part to fully participate in the economic, civic, social and cultural life of the City of Boston.
